Certification EBOT

L’examen officiel EBOT écrit se déroulera pour sa part sous le même format le mardi 11 juin (localisation à préciser) et la partie orale le vendredi 14 juin, en même temps et sur le même format que l’examen national oral « Collegium Orthopedicum », avec un passage devant 5 paires d’examinateurs, couvrant les 5 mêmes secteurs de compétence. La certification EBOT est accordée pour ceux qui auront réussi l’examen écrit et obtenu au moins une moyenne de 14/20 à l’examen oral. Ceux qui souhaiteraient présenter la partie orale en anglais peuvent le faire les 05-06 octobre 2024 (on ne peut pas présenter 2 fois l’oral EBOT la même année).

Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends, The Olympic Games are taking place in France and also in Paris this summer 2024. So we want to dedicate the Hand Institute symposium 2024 to pathologies of the upper limb in athletes. In addition, the last Hand Insti- tute symposium on this subject dates from 2005 and therefore an update seems necessary. The pathologies of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand will be detailed according to the different sports: Ball, Contact, Rackets, Aquatics, Mountain, Mechanical. Compared to 2005, we will report the progress made in screening, prevention, diagnosis (imaging) and treatments (injections, arthroscopy, minimally inva- sive) Top athletes will come and testify. Trainers, phy- siotherapists, sports doctors and surgeons will tell us about their approach to the pathologies of high-level athletes. During the Symposium, a large international Faculty of experts will re- port their experience through lectures, tech- nical videos, contradictory debates and dis- cussions with the audience.

L’examen se déroule par internet et compte 100 questions à réponse à choix multiples, couvrant 5 domaines de notre spécialité : pédiatrie, rachis, membre supérieur, membre inférieur et sciences de base. Les questions ont des degrés de difficulté croissant permettant d’apprécier le niveau de connaissance acquis, selon votre niveau d’avancement dans la spécialité (les candidats sont comparés aux candidats de la même année de formation).
